River Tay, Downstream of Grandtully. The Pitnacree and Balbeggan beat starts below the iron bridge at Grandtully and stretches 1.7 miles downstream to the botton of West Mains Island.
NB There are some additional slides to the description - the new slides are at the beginning of the Beat Description and describe accessing the left bank below the main bridge, some good fly water at bottom of beat on left bank and an easy way to drive to bottom of beat on right bank.

Safety & General Advice
Members should report to the ghillie Ian Beaton Mob: 07908 869726 at the fishing hut between 8.30am and 9:00am. This hut is located on the left (east) bank; see access details in beat description).
NB Ghillie service is not included in PDAA's arrangement. However, members must follow any instructions given by the ghillie. Ian is also willing to take PDAA anglers out in the boat, the cost of which is an arrangement between the member and the ghillie.
